Wake up and smell the coffee, Pamela. If it wasn't a hard habit to break - we wouldn't be smoking! Especially with all the inconveniences that have steadily been imposed upon us!

RE: Trying to quit smoking
I've smoked cigarettes for forty years. Tried to quit dozens of times. I don't think I ever quit for more than six or eight months.

About four months ago, I started smoking an e-cigarette. It's brilliant. I haven't had a tobacco cigarette since... not even one.

I started out with high nicotine and felt like I was getting too much, so I dropped down to low, and shortly after, to no-nicotine. Amazingly, going without nicotine didn't have much effect on me. It seems that icotine wasn't the major component of my addiction. Now I understand why the gum and patches weren't effective.

other who tells smoking is bad and not good

when u can overcome the evil part you can quit.
and if you want to quit smoking quit it now. there is never a tomorrow where u can quit. you need to quit it now
be busy with life and then you dont get the eager to smoke.
i was smoking for 20 yrs and tried many ways to quit.
then heard a good friend tell me -

RE: Trying to quit smoking
Searching for an easy way, how to quit smoking? Learn how to take five easy steps to break free of your smoking habit effortlessly. E-cigarettes are the solution to help you cut your cigarette cravings by half in a matter of weeks, and eventually quit completely, without ever looking back.
Similar to the nicotine patch and gum electronic cigarettes are used as a helpful device to cut down your nicotine cravings. There are many approaches how to quit smoking with the best electronic cigarettes depending on if you want to take your time to adjust and have an occasional tobacco cigarette during the day or make a clean, abrupt break from smoking traditional cigarettes.
The idea of the electronic cigarette is that you in time decrease the amount of traditional cigarettes as your nicotine fix and increase the use of the e-cigarette. There are many online store where you can buy electronic cigarettes of your own demand.
An easy step-by-step guide, to assist you:
1. Getting started - day 1
First you need to buy the right starter kit to help you quit smoking and assist you on your journey. E Cigarettes are ideal as they are considered the best in the line of two-piece electronic cigarettes. I recommend choosing a nicotine level similar to your nicotine level of traditional cigarettes, to make a smoother transition.

2. Making the transition - weeks 1 to 2
In a few weeks when you are fully acquainted to E Cigarettes and have gradually cut your analog smoking in half you can then move onto to trying to quit the analog altogether. Although it may sound difficult at first, by now you have already got used to the electronic cigarette and know its’ ropes. There is a slight difference in dragging it but it’s a matter of days to adjust.

3. Adjusting to a lower nicotine intake - weeks 3 to 4
Now that you have cut traditional smoking to the minimum or altogether you can switch to a lower nicotine level cartomizer. Usually I recommend using the medium strength cartomizer, but it depends on what you first started with. Stick with this strength as long as you feel confident and have noticed a decrease in your nicotine cravings.

4. Lowering your nicotine intake even more - weeks 5 to 6
By now you should feel comfortable to switch to the lowest nicotine level cartomizer. Repeat the instructions in step 3 and again take time to adjust to the lower nicotine level.

5. Reaching the goal - weeks 7 to 8
Again, when you feel fully adjusted to the lower nicotine level, you can then move on to the zero-nicotine cartomizer. Before you know it, you are free from the physiological addiction, to start tackling the psychological addiction if you then feel the need to do so.

 Helpful tip! You may like to adjust your nicotine levels during the day and carry multiple cartomizers with different nicotine levels. Do as ever you feel comfortable!

Mind over matter? Physiological versus psychological addiction
Why electronic cigarettes are the best way, how to quit smoking? A common problem when trying to quit smoking is the psychological aspect of not being able to let go of the act itself. E cigarettes are the best way, how to quit smoking, because although you quit smoking traditional cigarettes, in the mean you still have the comfort of the act. People have found it very helpful in terms of struggling to quit two addictions at the same time- the physiological and the psychological. E-cigarettes let you tackle the nicotine habit first and then, when you feel comfortable and confident you can move on to quitting the act of smoking. Physiological cravings are not standing in the way of your psychological freedom.

I wish you luck and success!

Important! I have put together this step-by-step guide, based on the WHO suggestions to stop gradually. This method has proven to be 90% effective, when approached with a sober mind and a little bit of will-power. I advise you to keep a rational approach to the process of quitting and understand that nothing come overnight. Although electronic cigarettes are not approved as smoking cessation products, they are still an immensely popular way, how to quit smoking.

Put your demands to God, will give you what you want to have.
