Hello

I am trying to get a little bit more information about the new e cigarette.
being a smoker for over 25 years. i don't want to think about my lungs at this point but i do see the potential of the e cigarette to minimize the damage.
is there anyone who has bought the product and used it and can answer some questions...

Im having the same problem with smoking and i can't quit.
I saw someone at the theater smoking this e cigarette and i was just stunned from seeing it, the guys didn't really speak English so it wasn't the best encounter.
It would be great if someone who has been smoking for a long time could give an opinion about this.

well i have to say, i have smoked now for 35 years and loved it. i now roll my own and just can't think of giving up. The ecig is the only thing i have ever had that i actually enjoy smoking...........matter of fact i rolled a ciggie at lunchtime today and just didn't enjoy one puff of it. I bought my ecig on internet for 18.99 and i can't believe how good it is. I really feel as if i'm inhaling and i have no craving for a roll up at all. I'm amazed and telling everyone about them lol

update! right a few wines and a bit of hassle with my ex.........i puffed away on the ecig and then reached for tobacco tin. i admit that, being upset, i needed the roll up...........but it's early days yet

I started out as an e-cig smoker and liked it so much, thought I would help get them out to other smokers. After smoking for 15 years, I find that this has been the easiest transition. I did do the patch for awhile and the gum... but went insane because I couldn't "smoke". And since I LOVE to smoke... I really didn't want to quit, but knew I should.

It is very important that you gauge your nicotine correctly because if you are a medium to high smoker and you go to a low nicotine cartridge, it is like picking up an ultra-light cigarette and there will be absolutely no satisfaction for you.

It's good to see others who have decided to use electric cigarettes. The idea is a great one. Can someone share any studies or recent medical info clearing the electric cigarette? I know it has been around much longer in the UK and for about three years in the U.S.

There is an article where the same concept was attempted in the 80's but ultimately blocked by the FDA. Does anyone know anything about that?
